The Argentine Lionel Messi, star of Paris Saint-Germain, revealed the possibility of experiencing coaching in the future, similar to the legendary French player Zinedine Zidane, although he does not prefer this option.
In an interview with "Sport Center," Messi discussed various topics concerning both the Argentine national team and the Parisian club. When asked about the likelihood of becoming a coach after retiring from football, Messi responded: "I really don't intend to be a coach... but Zidane said exactly this, and then he became a coach and won the Champions League three times (with Real Madrid)."
The 35-year-old also mentioned that he prefers to work as a sports director in the future, stating: "I would like to build a team and support the coaches... but I'm not sure about that."
It is worth noting that Messi announced during the same interview his intention to make his last appearance in the World Cup in Qatar 2022.
