Lebanon's central bank governor, Riad Salameh, announced in a statement that operations on the "Sayrafa" platform continue as usual and are based on Articles 75 and 83 of the Monetary and Credit Law. Salameh denied fabricated news suggesting that starting from the first of next month, Sayrafa would be exclusive to companies and not individuals, or that it would cease operations.
