CNN: The Caspian Sea Route Used to Transport Weapons from Iran to Russia

CNN reported that experts say the "Caspian Sea route is being used to transport weapons purchased by Russia from Iran," referencing an increase in ships disabling their tracking devices in this route. It mentioned that "with the deepening cooperation between Iran and Russia, the Caspian Sea route will be used to transport drones, ammunition, and mortars that the Russian government has purchased from the Iranian regime to enhance its combat capabilities in Ukraine." It continued: "Tracking data shows that ships in the area are significantly turning off their tracking devices, indicating they are increasingly planning to conceal their route and destination." It added that "Ukraine's Western allies have little power to stop arms shipments from this route."
