Mikati Meets Al-Bukhari and Donor Organizations to Combat Cholera

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati received the Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Al-Bukhari, at the Grand Serail. Mikati also chaired a meeting of donor organizations at the Grand Serail to combat the cholera epidemic, attended by ministers of the caretaker government: Health Minister Firas Abyad, Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi, and Energy and Water Minister Walid Fayyad, as well as ambassadors from the United States, France, Britain, China, South Korea, Switzerland, Austria, Australia, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Canada, Saudi Arabia, the European Union, the Chargé d'Affaires of Kuwait, the Chargé d'Affaires of Norway, a representative from the Japanese embassy, and representatives from the World Bank and United Nations agencies, UNICEF, and the World Health Organization.
