The United Nations stated today, Sunday, that Russia "still refuses our request to enter the areas under its temporary military control" following the explosion of the Kakhovka dam. UN humanitarian coordinator for Ukraine, Denise Brown, said in a statement, "The UN will continue to work for the necessary access (to the areas). We urge the Russian authorities to act in accordance with their obligations under international humanitarian law. Aid cannot be denied to those in need."
