European Stocks Open Lower

European stocks opened lower today, Thursday, amid concerns over the continued tightening of monetary policy, alongside a decline in the London Stock Exchange due to uncertainty surrounding the Bank of England's rate hike later today. By 07:16 GMT, the European "Stoxx 600" index fell by 1.2%, and the British "FTSE 100" index also dropped by 1.2%. Shares of interest-sensitive technology companies decreased by 1.2%, while car manufacturers led the declines with a drop of 1.9%.
