Emirates Water and Electricity Company Receives 4 Bids to Develop Al Ajban Plant

Emirates Water and Electricity Company has received 4 bids to develop the Al Ajban Independent Solar Power Plant with a capacity of 1500 megawatts, from: "ACWA Power," "EDF Renewable Energy," Marubeni Corporation, and a consortium consisting of Jinko Power and JERA. The Al Ajban plant will raise Emirates Water and Electricity Company's solar power generation capacity to about 4 gigawatts.
