Real Madrid announced on its website today, Saturday, the return of Brahim Díaz after the end of his loan spell with Milan, signing him to a four-year contract until June 30, 2027. Madrid loaned out Díaz in September 2020 for one season, which was then renewed for two additional seasons. The 23-year-old Díaz won the Italian league title in the 2021-2022 season. He joined Real in January 2019 from Manchester City. Díaz's return comes after Real signed defender Fran García from Rayo Vallecano and reached an agreement to acquire midfielder Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund. Following the end of last season, Real announced the departure of several players, notably Karim Benzema, who moved to Saudi Champions Al-Ittihad, along with Marco Asensio, Eden Hazard, and Mariano Díaz.
