Israeli attacks continue in southern Lebanon, resulting in the death of a citizen in the town of Braachit amidst an airstrike targeting the Jarmaq-Kfarrumman road in the Jezine district.
According to the "National Agency" correspondent in Bint Jbeil, a resident of Braachit was martyred after being hit by Israeli army gunfire during a sweeping operation with machine guns directed at the town.
In the Jezine district, the "National Agency" reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted the Jarmaq road towards Kfarrumman, with no immediate information on casualties or the extent of the resulting damage.
This comes amid ongoing field escalation in the south, where Israeli artillery shelling targeted the Kunin forest, accompanied by the firing of illumination shells over the area, causing fires in the forest. Artillery shelling also hit the center of Kunin town.
Similarly, the "National Agency" reported hearing a massive explosion in the town of Qantara, while shelling targeted the outskirts of the town of Haddatha.
The "National Agency" also noted that the Israeli army set fire to several homes in the town of Al-Tiri near Haddatha in the Bint Jbeil district, as assaults and targeting continue across several southern villages and towns.
