Bayern Munich Looks to Face City in Pursuit of Victory

On Friday, Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann stated that facing Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League next month will be a huge challenge for the Bavarian giant. However, as contenders for the title, Bayern needs to win against their top rivals.

Bayern, aiming to win the European Cup for the seventh time, will face a team led by Spaniard Pep Guardiola after the quarter-final draw was held earlier today in Nyon, Switzerland.

Nagelsmann said at a press conference, "We watched the draw with the coaching staff and I expect it to be a tough encounter. But I believe it will be a good challenge because if you end up winning the title, no one can accuse you of having luck on your side. If we win the Champions League at the end of the season, it will be a significant achievement."

He added, "You have to eliminate these teams if you want to win. We have agreed with Paris Saint-Germain and now City, and then perhaps Real Madrid or Chelsea, and in the final, we will face a Portuguese or Italian opponent," expressing his desire to progress further and defeat City.
