UNIFIL Checks Hezbollah Tents

Deputy Director of the UNIFIL Media Office, Candice Ardil, announced in a phone call with the National News Agency that "the Head of the UNIFIL Mission and Commander, Major General Aroldo Latharo, continues his direct communications with authorities on both sides of the Blue Line to address the issue of tents near Bastra." She added, "We are verifying reports that indicated the transfer of a tent north of the Blue Line." She further stated, "Any unauthorized presence or activity near the Blue Line is a matter of concern and could increase tensions and misunderstandings."
