The ministry announced that a delegation will head to Saudi Arabia in the coming days to lay the groundwork for reopening its embassy in Riyadh, revealing that the Saudi delegation visiting Iran is following up on the reopening of its embassy in Tehran and the consulate in Mashhad. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanani stated today, Monday, that the improvement in Iranian-Saudi relations and the new atmosphere surrounding these relations "positively affects the region and beyond," and that this rapprochement will reflect "positively" on security and stability in the region.
