Local media reported on Wednesday, citing Hanoi police, that at least 30 people, including children, died due to a fire in a residential building in the Vietnamese capital. The official Vietnam News Agency stated that the fire broke out overnight in a nine-story building home to around 150 people, and it was contained by 2 AM (19:00 GMT). An officer from the Hanoi police, who spoke with Reuters, mentioned that the number of casualties is not final yet, refusing to provide further details.
