Moscow Bans International Criminal Court Prosecutor from Entering Its Territory

The Russian Foreign Ministry announced today, Friday, that Russia has banned 54 British individuals from entering its territory, including Karim Khan, the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, in response to UK sanctions against its citizens and companies. The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant in March against Russian President Vladimir Putin, accusing him of committing a war crime by unlawfully deporting hundreds of children from Ukraine, allegations that Moscow denies. Moscow also added British Minister of State for Defense Annabel Goldie to the list of those banned from entering its territory, along with several reporters from the BBC and journalists from "The Guardian" and "The Daily Telegraph."
