Erdogan Appoints New Ambassadors in These Countries

The Turkish newspaper Resmi Gazete reported that "Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan signed decrees regarding the appointment of new ambassadors to Russia, Ukraine, and several other countries." The presidential decree published by the newspaper stated: "Tanju Bilgiç is appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Russia." The Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian Federation Council, Grigory Karasin, confirmed that "Russia hopes the contribution of the new Turkish ambassador to Russia, Tanju Bilgiç, will be positive for relations between the two countries." Mustafa Bilgin has also been appointed as Turkey's new ambassador to Ukraine. Additionally, Erdoğan appointed new ambassadors to Poland, Morocco, and Burundi.
