A young Palestinian was killed, and three others were injured by Israeli army gunfire on Friday morning during an incursion into the Jenin camp in northern West Bank. The Palestinian Ministry of Health stated that "a citizen was martyred due to being shot with live ammunition in the neck, while three others were injured by the Israeli army in the city of Jenin." Witnesses noted that a large military force entered Jenin city and surrounded a house. They confirmed that clashes erupted between dozens of Palestinians and the Israeli army, which used live and rubber bullets, while gunfire exchanged was heard. For its part, Palestinian authorities stated that the siege of Nablus for several days, incursions into cities, villages, and camps, as well as ongoing raids of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Ibrahimi Mosque, along with attempts to change their historical status, amount to a declaration of war against the Palestinian people and their leadership. For several months, the Israeli army has continued operations in northern West Bank, mainly focusing on the cities of Nablus and Jenin, claiming to pursue wanted individuals.
