Dutch authorities reported today, Thursday, that "a cargo ship carrying cars, which caught fire off the coast of the country, is being towed to a port for repairs." The Dutch Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management stated in a release: "The ship Fremantle Highway, which was sailing from Germany to Egypt when it caught fire on July 26, will be towed from its current location north of the Dutch islands of Ameland and Schiermonnikoog to the port of Eemshaven." The agency added: "Most of the ship has now been searched, and there are no signs of ongoing flames."
