The Office of the Prime Minister announced today, Tuesday, the formation of a committee to study the conditions of public administration and employees in the public sector in light of the aid and compensations that have been approved, as well as those that may be decided to ensure the minimum needs for employees and the possibility of distributing them within the financial ceilings that can be secured while considering all sectors present in the state, especially those that generate revenues for the treasury, in order to reactivate the public sector. The committee is also tasked with proposing measures and procedures aimed at initiating the reform process of the public sector.
The Office of the Prime Minister requested the Central Inspection to take necessary actions to ensure the provision of temporary compensation to all employees in the public sector and retirees benefiting from a pension. The Cabinet had previously approved an amendment to the amount of temporary transportation compensation and transportation fees for public sector employees, as well as an amendment to the fixed monthly transportation compensation for general inspectors and assistant inspectors in the Central Inspection. The Cabinet also decided to grant temporary compensation to all employees in the public sector and retirees benefiting from a pension.
