Arrest in Hermel for Shooting at Security Forces Member

The Army Command – Directorate of Guidance issued a statement today, Saturday, stating: "On 19/8/2023, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence, supported by a unit from the army, arrested the citizen (A.N.) in the town of Hermel for committing various crimes, including kidnapping for ransom, armed robbery, drug trafficking, car theft, and firing at army positions and individuals on previous occasions, the latest being on 9/8/2023, when he shot at 1st Class Quarters (W.S.) from the Internal Security Forces." Investigations with the arrested individual have commenced under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
