According to Spanish radio "RMC Sport," Marquinhos has once again been chosen as the captain by Coach Enrique, but Mbappe is included among the team leaders, ranking behind Marquinhos, Danilo Pereira, and Presnel Kimpembe.
This decision by Enrique is expected to anger Mbappe and could indicate a decisive moment regarding the player's future outside the Parisian club, amidst uncertainty about whether he will stay or leave. Despite media reports suggesting that the French club has agreed with Mbappe on a contract extension, allowing for his departure for a considerable fee, nothing has been finalized yet.
