The Ukrainian Air Force stated in a message today, Saturday, that three pilots lost their lives after two training aircraft, IL-39, collided in the air in the central part of the country. The Air Force wrote via the "Telegram" app, saying: "We express our condolences to the families of the victims. This is a painful and irreplaceable loss for all of us," adding that an investigation is underway into the circumstances of the incident. The accident occurred yesterday, Friday, over the Zhytomyr region west of the capital Kyiv.
