Title: Army Arrests Suspect Involved in Kidnapping of Saudi Citizen

The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance announced in a statement the arrest of a citizen (A.H.) in the city of Baalbek for his involvement in the killing of a local citizen, as well as in armed kidnapping and theft, and firing at army patrols. He was also recently involved in the kidnapping of Saudi citizen Mishari Al-Mutairi. The directorate noted that during the arrest, he brandished a firearm, attempting to shoot at the patrol and flee, prompting the personnel to respond in kind, resulting in his injury. He was transferred to a hospital for treatment. An investigation has been initiated with the detained individual under the supervision of the relevant judiciary.
