Constitutional Council Meets to Decide on the Appeal Against the Budget Law: Decision on Thursday

The Constitutional Council held a session at its headquarters in Hadath to decide on the appeal submitted by reformist lawmakers regarding the budget law, with all members present. The President of the Council, Tannous Machlab, stated, "The final decision on the appeal submitted against the budget will be issued on Thursday afternoon." A judicial source within the Constitutional Council revealed to "Al-Jadeed" that "there is a tendency to annul more than 10 articles from the 2022 budget law, particularly those known as the budget knights, which should be approved through independent laws."
