Are the Sitting MPs Intensifying Their Actions?

MP Najat Aoun Saliba indicated a "serious intention to continue the open sit-in at the Parliament, and the present MPs will take turns staying in the assembly until the main goal is achieved, which is an open session to elect the President of the Republic." In an interview with the electronic newspaper "Al-Anbaa," she pointed out that "the country is suffering from the absence of a legitimate government, the inability of the Parliament to legislate, in addition to the absence of a President of the Republic, all of which is exacerbated by a deterioration in living conditions and a rise in the exchange rate of the dollar. Therefore, achieving this entitlement has become necessary." Saliba expressed her hope that their movement would achieve its goal without resorting to other escalatory actions, but at the same time, she noted that there is no plan scheduled for the sitting MPs.
