The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced today, Saturday, that Turkey has summoned its ambassador to Israel for consultation due to the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip and the ongoing Israeli attacks on it. The Israeli ambassador to Turkey left the country last month for security reasons after protests erupted across the country in support of the Palestinians.
