Youth and Sports Committee Invites MPs to Participate in Football Match

The Youth and Sports Parliamentary Committee, headed by its chairman MP Simon Abi Ramia, has invited MPs to "participate in a football match tomorrow, Wednesday, April 13, at 8:30 PM at the 'President Fouad Chehab' municipal stadium in Jounieh." The committee announced that this event "aims to remind the Lebanese that wars only result in tragedies and misfortunes, and to transform this memory from a painful war that all Lebanese suffered from into a memory of peace, sportsmanship, and a message of national unity." It also noted that "players from the Civil Defense will participate in this event due to the special affection this institution has among all Lebanese and for the tasks it carries out across the country."
