The 63-year-old patient went in for a routine colon cancer screening using an endoscope, which involves inserting a specialized camera into the digestive tract. However, the surprise came when the endoscope reached the transverse colon, the long upper part of the large intestine, where doctors found a completely healthy and live fly.
