The organizers of the Belgian Grand Prix in the Formula 1 World Championship have reached an agreement to extend the contract for the event for an additional year, keeping it on the championship calendar until 2025. Formula 1 stated in a press release: "This year's race attracted a large audience of 380,000 fans over the three days at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, an increase of 20,000 fans compared to 2022." The CEO of the championship, Stefano Domenicali, said: "Spa circuit is synonymous with Formula 1, having been part of our very first season. It is also very popular among both fans and drivers. Therefore, I am very pleased to continue our partnership until 2025." Domenicali added: "In recent years, the promoter has made significant strides to enhance the fan experience and infrastructure, and all partners are currently working to ensure safety and excitement in the race."
