The report stated that the public prosecutor's office in Nanterre, a western suburb of Paris, has opened an investigation into a rape case involving Achraf Hakimi after accusations from a 24-year-old woman who claimed she was sexually assaulted at the Moroccan player's home in Boulogne-Billancourt on February 25, information that was confirmed by a source to Agence France-Presse.
Spanish newspaper "Marca" revealed that Achraf Hakimi has assured those close to him that this case is entirely fabricated and false, denying all the allegations against him and expressing complete confidence in his innocence. According to the renowned Spanish paper, the Moroccan player remains very calm despite the news regarding the case and the ensuing intense controversy.
