U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller announced that Secretary of State Antony Blinken spoke today, Tuesday, with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev regarding Nagorno-Karabakh. Miller added that Aliyev stated there would be no further military action and that Washington expects him to adhere to this. Miller told reporters that Blinken emphasized the need to cease hostilities, ensure unconditional protection and freedom of movement for civilians, and facilitate unhindered humanitarian access to the region.
