Al-Hilal strengthened its position at the top of the Saudi Pro League table after defeating its host Al-Fateh 2-0 on Friday in the opening match of the 12th round. The goals for Al-Hilal were scored by Serbian Aleksandar Mitrović from a penalty in the fifth minute and Salem Al-Dosari in the third minute of stoppage time.
With this victory, Al-Hilal raised its points tally to 32 at the top, while Al-Fateh remained at 23 points in fourth place. Later today, Al-Shabab will play against Al-Ittihad in a key match of this round.
