Saudi television reported today, Tuesday, that "the Kingdom has officially begun its full membership in the BRICS group." Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan stated in August that "the Kingdom will study all details before the proposed date for joining on January 1st and will make an appropriate decision." The minister added that "BRICS is an important and beneficial channel for enhancing economic cooperation."
