Miqati Discusses Regional Developments with Emir of Qatar

Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Miqati met with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, at the Amiri Diwan on Sunday morning, in the presence of the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments in the Palestinian territories and the region, as well as discussed the bilateral relations between Lebanon and Qatar and ways to enhance and develop them. Following this, Miqati held a meeting with the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, with the Lebanese chargé d'affaires in Qatar, Ambassador Farah Berri, also present. After that, a private meeting took place between President Miqati and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman.
