The club stated in a press release, "Leeds United offices, the ticket office, foundation offices, and the club shop at Elland Road will be closed until further notice based on police advice... We apologize for any inconvenience and will inform fans when normal service resumes." For its part, West Yorkshire Police indicated that a threat was issued via social media on Thursday, prompting them to conduct searches, noting that investigations are underway "to assess the credibility of this threat."
