Saudi Foreign Ministry: Postponement of the Fifth Arab-African Summit

The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the postponement of the Fifth Arab-African Summit to a later date that will be determined, due to the current developments in Gaza, according to breaking news broadcast by Al-Qahira News Channel. Earlier, Kazem Abu Khalaf, spokesperson for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in the West Bank, stated that 15% of the agency's facilities and schools have been targeted by Israeli bombardment, in addition to the deaths of 89 UNRWA staff members in the Gaza Strip. He added during a Skype intervention with Al-Qahira News Channel that the Israeli bombardment hit one of the agency's schools in the Jabalia camp, noting that this school shelters displaced persons fleeing the ongoing Israeli shelling of residential neighborhoods in Gaza.
