Brentford Coach Praises Salah After Loss to Liverpool

Brentford coach Thomas Frank praised the abilities of Liverpool star and Egyptian international Mohamed Salah after Brentford's defeat against the Reds on Sunday in the 12th round of the English Premier League. Salah scored two goals, leading Liverpool to a 3-0 victory over Brentford.

Frank mentioned after the match in statements featured on Liverpool's official website: "Jürgen Klopp (Liverpool's coach) praises Salah a lot, but I don't really know if he has received enough recognition." He added, "I say it without much thought... he could be the best player in the Premier League. In terms of goals and assists, he is performing at a remarkable level."

He continued, "He must be one of the best forwards in the world... he is not just among the top 10 but in the top 3, so when you face a player of such quality... you know you will have a problem."

Salah achieved an unprecedented record in the match against Brentford, becoming the first player in Liverpool's history to score in the first 6 matches of the season at Anfield in the English Premier League.
