Manchester United Faces Major Blow Ahead of Bayern Munich Clash

Manchester United, struggling in the domestic league this season, received a significant setback with the injury of player Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is set to be sidelined for several weeks, as announced by the English club on Monday.

A statement from Manchester United said: "Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be out for a period after suffering an injury late in the game against Brighton," noting that the player "will undergo additional tests to determine how long he will be sidelined, but indications suggest it will be for several weeks."

Wan-Bissaka's injury comes just before the awaited and challenging match for Manchester United against German host Bayern Munich this Wednesday, in the first round of the group stage in the Champions League.

Manchester United is grappling with several injuries within its squad, with a lengthy list including French center-back Raphael Varane, left-back Luke Shaw, midfielder Mason Mount, recently transferred from Chelsea, and new signing Moroccan Sofyan Amrabat, who is also dealing with a back injury.
