During the call, Prince Mohammed stated that it is essential to "make every possible effort to reduce tensions and ensure that the violence does not escalate to avoid its serious repercussions on security and stability in the region and the world." The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia emphasized the kingdom's rejection of targeting civilians in any form and the importance of adhering to international humanitarian law.
Additionally, the office of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated that he spoke with bin Salman about the situation in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza Strip yesterday. Trudeau's office added, "The two leaders expressed their deep concern about the humanitarian impact of the conflict in Gaza and stressed the importance of all parties protecting civilians and ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid to affected areas."
