Sunni sources confirmed that the meeting at Dar Al-Fatwa is a unified national gathering, while also indicating their aim to unify Sunni leadership at this time. They reaffirmed fundamental principles that they have never deviated from, which include the implementation of the Taif Agreement, strengthening Lebanon's relations with its Arab surroundings for the benefit of Lebanon, and enhancing the Sunni presence at the national level.
