Biden Extends Israel's Trade Preferences and Conditions

The White House announced that President Joe Biden extended on Friday the conditions and mutual trade preferences exempt from tariffs for Israel on specific quantities of certain agricultural products for one year, ending on December 31, 2024. In an announcement signed by Biden while spending the holiday in St. Croix, the president stated that the extension would provide additional time for the two governments to reach an agreement to replace a trade deal dating back to 2004.
