Sudanese people are eagerly awaiting the fate of ceasefire number 13 with much hope, after 16 weeks of bloody fighting, where not a single day has passed without clashes between the Sudanese army and the support forces. This conflict has cost around 900 lives, including dozens of children, as a result of a senseless war that has affected hospitals, markets, banks, as well as diplomatic missions and civilians in their homes. As they wait to see how well the ceasefire announced from Jeddah two days ago will hold, all eyes are on the developments in the last hours, while both parties to the conflict remain steadfast in their positions to continue fighting until the other is held accountable and brought to justice. Will the Sudanese people be able to sleep peacefully tonight despite the calamities that have befallen them?
