Trump: I Filled the Reserves and Biden is Using Them

Former U.S. President Donald Trump stated that his successor, Joe Biden, is draining the country's strategic oil reserve in an effort to lower fuel prices as much as possible before the fall elections. Trump predicted that gas prices would sharply increase by the end of the election campaign. He said, "I filled these strategic reserves... which haven't been replenished for years. I did it at the right price when prices were at an all-time low. I filled them, and he is using them to lower prices as much as he can before the elections." Trump added, "Right after the elections, prices will double and be higher than anyone can imagine," pointing out that the strategic oil reserve is meant for war, not elections.
