Novak Djokovic began his quest for multiple records at Wimbledon with an easy win over Argentine Pedro Cachin on Monday. The 36-year-old Serbian player is aiming for his 24th Grand Slam title, which would tie him with Australia’s Margaret Court. He also hopes to equal Roger Federer’s record of eight titles on the grass courts of the All England Club, as well as match Björn Borg’s record of five consecutive men's singles titles. Despite Cachin successfully breaking his opponent's serve in the competitive first set, the only moment Djokovic struggled was when he complained about the wet grass due to rain that caused a 70-minute delay for the closing and opening of the roof. Djokovic concluded the match with a score of 6-3, 6-3, 7-6.
