Bayern Munich President Responds to Alphonso Davies Transfer Rumors to Real Madrid

Bayern Munich President Herbert Hainer responded to rumors linking left-back Alphonso Davies, the Canadian international, with a move to Real Madrid. Reports have suggested tensions between Bayern Munich's management and Alphonso Davies, as the Canadian player is reportedly refusing to extend his contract with the Bavarian club at a time when Real Madrid is looking to strengthen its left-back position.

Hainer stated in comments relayed by Italian football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his account on the platform "X": “He (Alphonso Davies) is with us under contract until June 2025. He’s one of the best fullbacks in the world." He added, "Of course, we want to keep Davies at Bayern Munich, and I hope he wants to stay with us too."

The Spanish newspaper "Relevo" reported that Alphonso Davies is the top target for Real Madrid to bolster their squad next summer. It emphasized that there is complete consensus within Real Madrid's management regarding the presence of the Canadian left-back at the club, as he aligns with the club's reinforcement policy.
