U.S. Retains Directed Munitions from Iran to Yemen

The United States aims to retain over one million pieces of munitions that were seized by the U.S. Navy in December from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard intended for armed groups in Yemen, according to the U.S. Department of Justice. Attorney General Merrick Garland stated in a release: "The United States thwarted a significant operation by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to smuggle military weapons to an armed group in Yemen."
