Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a meeting today, Thursday, with U.S. President Joe Biden's special envoy Amos Hochstein in Tel Aviv. During the meeting, Netanyahu stated that Israel is committed to making a "fundamental change" on its borders with Lebanon, so that displaced residents from areas near the Israeli-Lebanese border can return to their homes, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office. The statement added that the Prime Minister informed the envoy that "the return of our citizens in the north and south to their homes is part of the war's objectives and will be achieved politically or militarily."
