The Xinhua News Agency announced that China has launched a new satellite into space using a Hyperbola-1 commercial rocket. The agency noted that "the rocket carrying the satellite was launched on Sunday, December 17, from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Gansu Province (northwest China)." According to the agency, "this launch marks the sixth for Hyperbola-1 commercial rockets."
