Title: Mikati: Israeli Crimes Know No Bounds, Government Will Follow Up on Complaint Submitted to the Security Council

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati renewed his condemnation of Israel for targeting the press team during its ongoing aggression against Lebanon, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of many. Commenting on the reports issued by "Reuters" and "France Presse" regarding the martyrdom of journalist and Reuters photographer Issam Abdullah and the injury of six others, including France Presse photographer Christina Assi and Dylan Collins, as well as Reuters photographers Thaer Al-Sudani and Maher Nazih, Al-Jazeera correspondent Carmen Joqdhar, and her colleague photographer Eli Barakhia on October 13, Prime Minister Mikati stated: "Israeli crimes know no bounds, as we witness in Gaza and southern Lebanon. The targeting of media institutions aims to silence every voice that exposes the Israeli aggression." The Lebanese government will take all necessary measures to include the two reports in the complaint submitted to the United Nations Security Council and will follow up on it. In this context, he has coordinated with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Abdullah Bou Habib to take the necessary action. He also contacted Minister of Information Ziad Makari, who has initiated practical measures to submit the required complaints to the relevant international authorities. He is also in the process of corresponding with ambassadors of major countries operating in Lebanon to ask them to take appropriate positions on the reports.
