Ben Gvir: Occupation of Gaza is Necessary

Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir stated that the rocket fire on the Nativot settlement in the western Negev, from the area from which the Israeli army withdrew in Gaza, proves that the occupation of Gaza is necessary. Ben Gvir criticized the Israeli war council, considering it repeatedly makes wrong decisions that lead to harm. He said, "The decision to withdraw the Israeli army from Hamas strongholds in the Gaza Strip is a grave and dangerous mistake that will cost human lives, and it once again proves that the occupation of the Gaza Strip is necessary to achieve combat objectives." Hebrew media reported on Tuesday that several buildings in the Nativot settlement in the western Negev were directly hit by dozens of rockets launched from the Gaza Strip.
