Russian Defense: Destruction of 3 Ukrainian Drones

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the "destruction of 3 Ukrainian drones in the Lugansk and Donetsk Republics, with over 460 Ukrainian soldiers killed across all fronts." In its daily statement regarding the progress of the special military operation in Ukraine, it explained that "our forces killed about 40 Ukrainian soldiers in the Kupiansk direction and destroyed D20 and D-30 howitzers in the Krasny Liman direction. In the Donetsk direction, the forces continued combat operations to drive Ukrainian troops out of the central districts of Bakhmut." The Russian Ministry of Defense added, "the forces advanced and seized areas in the northern and southern outskirts of the city. In response, the remaining units of the Ukrainian forces in Bakhmut deliberately destroyed infrastructure and residential buildings to slow the advance of the Russian forces and the Wagner Group. Additionally, Russian fighter jets conducted 6 sorties, and artillery units carried out 57 firing missions in the Bakhmut area over the past 24 hours. As a result of operations in the Donetsk direction, more than 315 Ukrainian soldiers were eliminated, and D-20 and Msta-B howitzers, as well as a Grad MLRS combat vehicle, were destroyed."
